It has come to my attention that at times when I remove an item from a drop-down menu because that title has sold out, that sometimes the coding of the 'add to cart' button goes a little out of whack. 

When this happens, instead of an item being added to your cart, you will receive an error message.  It's easily fixed from my end by re-inserting the code, so if this should happen to you, please send me an email, and I'll fix it right away. 

We have received many orders in the past week, and I have therefore not had the time to sent out email notifications that your order has been sent.  We are working to have all orders in the mail asap - but if you are concerned in any way, just send me an email, and I'll let you know on the progress of your order.

Life of Fred and All About Spelling

Please note that due to a large number of orders this month, several of the Life of Fred and All About Spelling titles are currently out of stock.  This mainly includes the Elementary Maths series - Apples, Butterflies, etc., and the first Level of All About Spelling.

More are on their way, but it may be a couple of weeks before we have them. 

Apologia titles are also depleting - we have now sold out of Physical Science, Marine Biology, and the Human Body;  Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.

And, we're back!

We have re-opened this week - all be it with a couple of  'hiccups' - Bill having to attend the dentist for emergency work, and Linda down with yet another migraine - but, we are catching up with orders and emails, and we thankyou for your patience.

On the night before we re-opened, we had a lightning storm, and it seems it somehow managed to wipe all our phone messages.  Every one.  So, if you happened to leave us a message during the Christmas / New Year break, we no longer have it.  Please call us again or email us, and we will attend to your enquiry asap.

Sell-Out and Discontinued Lines

It has begun!

We have added several items to our 'sell-out' section. Simply go to the 'Specials' page, and scroll down, where you will see all the icons for the various sections.

Thus far, only the 'Homeschooling' and 'Phonics, Reading and Spelling' sections have products listed, however, all items can be found by downloading our Sell-Out Price List, which you'll find on the same page.

More will be added as time goes by - hopefully, that'll be a few each week - but of course, it's all 'time-permitting'.

We shall also be updating the pages as we sell out of the various items.

There's Good News, and There's Bad News.....

First, the Good News.

1. Whenever someone placed an order through our site, we would copy and past the order onto our business computer, to our database. Therefore, we have a copy of all orders ever placed through the site.

2. As well as putting the products and pricing on our site, we kept a separate price list, which I manually typed up in Word.

3. Most of the blog entries and articles were also typed up and saved in Word before I put them on the site.

4. No delicate information such as credit card details were stored on the site.

5. I have managed to get in and put up a temporary, one-page site - so the inappropriate message on our home page has gone.


Now, the Bad News.

1. Unless my web host can miraculously find a backup of all the files (there is still one, slight glimmer of hope there), the site is gone. The hacker deleting everything.

2. In this case, it means we have no web-site, meaning we will literally have to begin again. That's hundreds of hours of work, gone. I've tried to find the words to describe how I'm feeling about it all - distraught comes to mind, but by no means covers it.


If we do need to start a whole new website, it will take time. One of the reasons we were reducing our stock was because I simply lacked the time to attend to everything. This situation has not changed. If we now need to rebuild and entire site - well, I just do not know when, how, or if this will happen.


Time to take a step back, breathe, and wait a little while.
